final showcase

Final showcase

I wanted something like this but where it shows the landscape it would game poster and on the CPEA side I want it to be another poster. The middle I wanted a monitor and where the flyers are I wanted a design of the character and level outlines. The back where the curtain is would be a projector
This concludes my showcase.

final fabrication

Final Fabrication

3D printing research
If you enjoy creating a wide variety of things in many different ways that  means you should go into the world of 3 dimensional printing. 3D printing can be quite cheap and can also be very expensive. If you were to get something 3d printed and wanted it cheap you would have to use a certain type of material and a certain color. There are many companies that provide 3d services such as Sculpteo.com, iMaterialise.com, solidconcepts.com, 3ders.org and, Makexyz.com. This concluded my research on 3d printing.

I couldn't have put it because the piece I received the file I  had deleted it and the other one is too big. Sorry

Overall:
I enjoyed working on this project and also wished that we had done more throughout the year. It was a great final and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I feel like this was a good way to end this year.

Reflection blog post 5/1

This weeks has been quite stressfull while writing the I-Search. I had been working on the AI with Paras, Amijot, Archit, Sukhjit. We have had a couple of problems such as recieving 45 errors and something called Navnash and it is a major pain. That has kept us from completeing this Ai and carrying onto the next objective. That is basically what we have completed this week and hopefully we can figure about what to do with NavNash

Reflection blogpost

Recently I have been working on Traps for the game. I  have been working with Sukhjit and have come with with a few ideas such as a trench, boulder, log, spiky ball, and a pressure sensitive coal ditch. I have been successful in the job that i was assigned in and have completed it.

Career for Maker Faire

Career for Maker Faire

The Job that I would like to do in Maker Faire is is the art. Although I cannot draw I can throw out some amazing idea for the visualizations in the game. I am creative as some students and teacher would say. I am pretty confident I can come up with an idea that can astound the manager. Therefore here are just a few reasons that I can do art as an job.

Maker Faire Game research

Maker Faire Game Research

    What is the game like?
The game is quite amusing you have a choice of 9 characters and each one has its own specialties in warfare.

    How was it developed?
Team Fortress was originally made in April,7,1999 by valve but it was very unsuccessful and then they redesigned it and had been released into steam on October,9,2007. It was very successful and it still successful now a days.

    Who developed it?
The Valve corporation had created this game.

    `Why was it created?
They had failed the first time.

Was is this game intriguing to you?
It didn't get boring after a while.

    Geometry of Design

    Geometry of Design

1)What are the various geometric shapes and how are they defined by their characteristics?

The various shapes were very confusing at first to mostly work with inventor. The most difficult part of it was the star.It had taken me so long until Ms.L had shown the tutorial of how to do it.

    2) How are physical properties of objects used to define design requirements?

The properties were quite strange at first. The size of the Shapes the size and how deep each corner is.

    3) What advantages do CAD programs provide over traditional paper and pencil design? What advantages does paper and pencil design provide over CAD?

Cad model features are exact and the measurements are precise and do not mess up they are quite different than the rest. But pen and paper are very different you wouldn't get the exact measurement but you had traditional work that you can sign and date so that it belongs to you.

    Reverse Engineering: Automoblox

    Reverse Engineering

Reverse engineering the Automoblox this car was quite like other cars but it had a different amount of engineering just for certain parts. Some of the pieces were changeable and therefore it made me feel like a child again. This car was supposed to look like a race car and it did do that. It was made to make children happy the car actually looked childproof.

    Questions:
1.The purpose of the car was to entertain children and it was also to copy a car.

    2) Visual

3)There are little ridges at the end of the axle that stop the wheel      from falling off.
    B)My hypothesis was true
C)The pieces fit together well and therefore didn't fall off.
    D) My hypothesis was correct.
E)The ridge lets the car pull apart.
F)The wheel had rubber on it to provide traction to the car.
    4) force
    Structural
1)The point of it to do look like the original product but to be made differently.
2)If i have to change it I would allow for different parts.

    Interviewing an engineer Jessica Pauly

Jessica Pauly was a great engineer we had an interview with and it was very interesting to know what it is like to work there and how long they also have to work. It was a great help to know what people stress out for months on to get a aircraft into space. It was very cool to see firsthand what engineering does and its upsides to technology and the world. Making a cheap aircraft that works

    Geometric Constraints

    Geometric Constraints

What shapes did you use in the design of your model shelter, and why did you choose those shapes?
    Triangles

What angles resulted from the shapes you chose?
Right angles and acute and obtuse

What was the overall surface area of the shelter’s exterior? What material would you cover the outside of your shelter with, and how much of it would you need?
    We would need cardboard

What was the overall surface area of the shelter’s interior? Approximately, how many people would comfortably fit in your shelter?
35 was the surface area so basically 2 adults and a child

What external load factors did you taken into account for your shelter? How did you design your shelter model to meet those constraints?
we had used triangles and squares

How did you consider “form follows function” in the design of your shelter?
The form was a house and it follows function

    The struggle of inventoir

    The Struggle of Inventor

Inventor 2014 professional made by Autodesk to help cad products. But this is quite insane how confusing this software gets and I really dislike it. The problem I struggle with the most is "How do I conjoin pieces together"? Then I was going to give up and I had logged onto www.Youtube.com and I have found my solution after extensive research.

    Form follows function

    Form follows function

I had intended to fix how wires would be a bother to people with OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder). And now matter how well they try to cover the wires and to keep it neat it really doesn't help. So I had made a 6 ft long carbon fiber cylinder that has a zipper between it. There are a large variety of colors sizes that I have made. Wires need to be contained in a good way that doesn't expose wire. The wires form was long and skinny and its function is to power the device. Wires remind me of snakes but alot of wires are like a large abundance of snakes, but one wire wouldn't bother me at all. This is different from all other products because they sell ties but my product holds everything together. It could be  better if i could use something that is waterproof and shark proof. My product is amazing for everybody that is affected by small things and also that this is really affordable for $4.99

    Puzzle cube reflection

    Puzzle cube reflection

Its a key component to model an idea before the prototype. Its also very important because you can mess up if you do not plan ahead you can doing it entirely and it can be perfect but what would happen if you forget the variation then you would have to do it again and model it firsf. The one thing I love about my puzzle is that its a very simple design but everyone tends to overthink it. Even though this is a variation of almost 10 different puzzles this is quite simple I have 2 pieces that always offend everybody, they get angry because they do not know the formattable  place for it to go. They one thing i really dislike about my puzzle is that the pieces aren't all equal. Otherwise I have a great puzzle that I love and so do other people when i show them how to solve it.

    Puzzle design process

    Puzzle design

This puzzle was a major brain twister when I had first started. I slowly understood what had needed to be done in order to make this work.

I had forgotten how to solve it my self so therefore i had made more than 10 different designs.
I enjoyed on how angry i had and thought this was a bland project for us to do.But this was very fun and I had enjoyed this a lot.

    Fling Machine

    Fling Machine

If we had to optimize what we could have done better if we had more time to do we would have used a little time to get all of the creases in nice and tight and also that we had folded the foil a lot more. Me and Alvin just couldn't have more ideas we had an idea that we put the cotton ball inside the balloon and we had an amazing idea to make a airplane that had the balloon as an engine. We had successfully thrown the balloon we would have won if it wasn't for Paras and Ryan.

    Unit Conversion

What would happen if engineers did not follow accepted dimensioning standards and
guidelines but, instead, used their own individual dimensioning methods?

If engineers had began to follow their own dimensions everybody would be confused on how they have a certain dimension. Nobody would be able to be successful on their goal and if not then it would cause chaos on certain projects.
